Physical Therapy & Pilates

Most clients find us through a referral — physical therapists, chiropractors, osteopaths, and doctors who send us the cases they haven't been able to resolve elsewhere. Private sessions only with Laura Winner, DPT — no group classes at this studio.

The San Rafael studio, an assisted stretch session

Our physical therapists specialize in orthopedic care, sports rehab, and injury recovery, using Pilates-based exercises to help patients move better and feel stronger. Unlike standard PT, which often focuses primarily on the injured area, our approach integrates the precision of traditional rehabilitation with the mindful, controlled movements of Pilates.

Pilates-Based Rehab

Expert rehabilitation with mindful movement to recover safely, correct underlying movement patterns, and regain confidence.

Pilates for Sport

Enhances athletic performance, improves core strength, mobility, and balance, and helps prevent injuries.

Pilates for Wellness

However you're most comfortable, our physical therapist can still guide your care directly.

In-Studio

Full Zoom Sessions

Complete your session entirely online, with Zeina A. Grifoni guiding you through exercises live from home.

Hybrid Sessions

Attend the studio with a Pilates instructor while Zeina A. Grifoni guides the session live over Zoom.

Not sure which path fits? Most clients start with afree 15-minute consultation with Zeinabefore booking anything, so we can point you to the right session.

Medicare patients

How reimbursement works

We accept Medicare at our San Rafael studio. You pay for your visit at the time of service, and we submit your claim to Medicare and your secondary insurance on your behalf — you don't have to handle the paperwork.

What to expect

  • Medicare processing About 3 weeks, then forwarded to your secondary insurance
  • Secondary insurance Typically another 2–4 weeks
  • Medicare covers ~80% of the approved amount, minus a small 2% sequestration adjustment
  • Your total reimbursement Usually 90% or more of your visit cost, between both plans

Private clients

Flexible, out-of-pocket options

For clients without Medicare paying out-of-pocket, we offer flexible ways to receive Pilates-based physical therapy, including in-studio sessions directly with the licensed PT.

Pricing

  • Initial evaluation $250 · 55-minute session
  • Follow-up session $190 · 45-minute session

Have private insurance instead? Upon request, we can provide a superbill, which you can submit for potential reimbursement.

Pilates instructor sessions

Not PT-led — just Pilates

Prefer to work with a Pilates instructor rather than our physical therapist? We also offer standalone private and semi-private Pilates sessions, separate from PT-led care.

Pricing

  • Private lesson $120 / class · $1,100 / 10 classes
  • Semi-private / duet $65 / class · $600 / 10 classes
