Privacy Policy

This policy explains what personal data this website (synergyptpilates.com) collects, how it's used, and the choices you have. It's written to reflect exactly what the site does — not a generic template.

Who we are

Synergy+ Pilates & Physical Therapy operates two studios: Ascona, Switzerland, and San Rafael, California. For any privacy question, contact us at tiziano@synergyptpilates.com.

What data we collect

This site is intentionally light on data collection. Specifically:

• Contact. The Contact page uses direct email and phone links (mailto/tel). When you email or call us, whatever you choose to share goes directly to our inbox or phone — it isn't captured, stored, or processed by this website itself.
• Language & region preference. To suggest the right language and studio, the site reads your browser's timezone and language settings and stores your choice in your browser's local storage (not a server database). This never leaves your device and isn't linked to your identity. See our Cookie Policy for detail.
• Standard server logs. Like virtually any website, our hosting provider logs basic technical information (IP address, browser type, pages requested) for security and reliability. We don't access this for marketing or profiling purposes.

We do not currently run analytics or advertising tracking on this site, and we do not sell or share personal data with third parties for marketing purposes.

Third-party services

This site loads typefaces from Google Fonts, which involves a request to Google's servers (exposing your IP address to Google, per their own privacy policy). We plan to introduce online class booking in the future; when that launches, this policy will be updated to describe exactly what that service collects before it goes live.

Your rights

If you're in the EU, UK, or Switzerland, you have rights under GDPR/Swiss FADP including access, correction, deletion, and objection to processing of your personal data. If you're a California resident, you have rights under the CCPA, including the right to know what personal information is collected and to request its deletion. Because we collect so little data directly through this site, most requests will simply confirm we don't hold anything on file — but reach out to tiziano@synergyptpilates.com for any request and we'll respond promptly.

Children's privacy

This site is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect data from children.

Changes to this policy

If what we collect or how we use it changes — particularly once online booking is introduced — we'll update this page and the "last updated" date above.
